The Magic Eraser feature on Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro is a practical tool that does solid work to remove objects or unwanted people from photos. However, users experience bugs that hit the Google Photos application when they use it.
People have marked the problem on Reddit and Twitter. As a record of the Android police, some have tried to clear the Google Photos cache and restart their handsets, but don’t seem to finish something.
Users have experienced other problems with the magic eraser and Google photos. Application updates in November accidentally remove features, but Google quickly fixes it. Engadget has asked Google when users can expect improvements to the latest problems.
The magic eraser is mentioned as one of the most interesting new features in the Pixel 6 lineup and certainly does not hurt the device sales. Google Parent Alphabet said in its income report this week that he set a quarterly sales record of all time for pixels in the last three months 2021 even in the face of ongoing supply chain problems.
Update 2/4/22 4:34 ET: Google appoints Engadget to the official account comment made on reddit. “Thank you for your patience and bug reports,” Reading, “From today, we launched repairs, so please update to the latest version of Google photos (5.76.0.426251772 or higher) in the Play Store.”
